The Professional Development committee has assembled a technical panel of experts from WA State Department of Ecology, WA State Department of Health, City of Tacoma Environmental Laboratory, and a stormwater specialist to discuss the emerging contaminant 6PPD-quinone (a degraded tire rubber-derived chemical) affecting vulnerable fish species in the Pacific Northwest as well as other geographies.
